Once, a professor wrote a large number 1 on the board and, looking at his students, explained: — This is your humanity. The most essential quality in life. Then, next to the 1, he wrote a 0 and said: — And these are your achievements, which, together with humanity, have increased you tenfold. Another 0 — experience — made the person a hundred. And so he kept adding zeros: caution, good manners, love… — Each added zero magnifies a person ten times, — said the professor. Suddenly, he erased the 1 that stood at the beginning of the row. Only worthless, meaningless zeros remained on the board. The professor said: — If you have no humanity, everything else is worth nothing.
